On my way to Harrison Twp

On my way to Harrison Twp

I had a wonderful time celebrating 30 years in ministry with Reconciliation Metropolitan Community Church in Grand Rapids, MI.

I attended their celebration dinner dance and wore my little paws out. - Wow can those folks dance!

I met so many new people then attended their worship service on Sunday. We had an awesome time!

I was so excited about my next stop that I left without even packing my suitcase. Oh my - what will I do?

Will write more later.

Love and hugs,

Agape the MCC Traveling Bear

28 °F

Greetings from my Reconciliation family and me:

My name is Agape and I am a traveling bear. I’ve been sent out as a missionary supported by Reconciliation Metropolitan Community Church in Grand Rapids, MI to share God’s love.

I enjoy traveling the world, meeting interesting people and visiting the lonely and ill. It is my hope that as we spend time together, you might forget about the worries of your world if only for a moment and feel God’s love.

I would like you to share our many adventures by contributing brief stories and photographs to my Pastor at RevStephMaxson@aol.com so she can update my church family, our facebook page and blog about my adventures as a missionary.

These adventures are only limited to your imagination. Maybe we could visit someone in the hospital, take a trip to the zoo, provide extra hands and paws in a soup kitchen, meet new people at a Pride Fest.

When our journey together has come to an end, please find another MCC that will host me. If you prefer, guide me back home where I can rest before my next mission trip.
